Too Faced “Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer” Review

Too Faced is my favorite high-end makeup brand for so many reasons, but one of them is because of their wonderful Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer! This elegantly packaged gold compact costs $30 and contains 0.35 ounces of product, which will honestly last forever.

My favorite part about this bronzer that makes it worth the price is the color, which is absolutely ideal for my warm tan skintone. It is not so warm-toned that you cannot contour with it, but it also is not so cool-toned that you cannot bronze your entire face with it. It is never orange or ashy, but perfectly neutral and natural-looking. One great thing about this bronzer is that is comes in three different shades for a variety of skin tones, inlculding the light “Milk Chocolate,” the deep “Dark Chocolate,” and this medium one. All of the shades are matte, so they can all be used for contouring as well as all-over bronzing.

One thing that makes this product unique is that it smells sweet like chocolate in the pan, but the most important and special thing about this bronzer is the incredibly high quality. This is honestly the best quality bronzer I have ever used, and I have used quite a few bronzers!

Sometimes, when I try to contour with other bronzers, I always seem to have a harsh, patchy line no matter how well I blend it out, but that is definitely not the case with this one. This literally blends so easily, you barely need to put in any effort. The amount of pigmentation is perfect because it is very pigmented, but it is not one of those products where you have to be afraid of being heavy-handed or applying too much. It is really buildable, so you can do a super dramatic contour or a subtle one.

This is truly my perfect bronzer and there is honestly nothing I would change about it; I always find myself reaching for it on my most special events and on a day-to-day basis because I do not want to live without it. As you can tell, I love this holy grail bronzer and think that if you are looking for a high-end bronzer, look no further than the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer!
